MECHANICAL

Darling Park Tower [click for datasheet]
Darling Park Tower 1, located at 201 Sussex Street, Sydney comprises 51,000 sqm over 27 levels.

KAE, working for the co-owners of Darling Park Tower 1, GPT Wholesale Office Fund, Multiplex Capital and AMP Capital Investors has provided the technical expertise for this upgrade creating a state of the art CBD building.

The building is to be upgraded from its current 3.5 star ABGR to a minimum 4.0 star (with a target of 4.5 stars ABGR).

Services Undertaken
KAE has undertaken the base building design for this project including:

  • Replacement of 2 off standby generators
  • New power supplies to Data Centre floors
  • Up grade of VAV system on each floor
  • New Central plant chillers and cooling towers
  • All new lighting design
  • Security Up-grade
  • BMCS up grade
  • Provision of new risers throughout the building
  • Provision of supplementary outside air and cooling water systems

Wollongong Multi-Storey Office Development [click for datasheet]
KAE undertook the Mechanical, Electrical and Acoustic designs for this 7 storey office building in Wollongong. This project utilises KAE's energy expertise to achieve a 4.5 Star rated building.

Sussex Hay

This Sydney located project is based in the China town area. The building is > 25m tall and houses significant restaurants with office levels above.

Below ground areas include, 2 levels of car park, loading dock, grease arrestor rooms etc.

KAE undertook design for Mechanical and Electrical Services.

The building services are designed to achieve an ABGR 4.5 star rating.

Mechanical:

The project comprises a 4 storey office building with car park below and an extensive high bay warehouse attached to the office building.

KAE provided the following services:

Electrical:

KAE undertook the air conditioning design for this boutique 3 storey office building.

University Admissions Centre, Homebush (KAE)
KAE undertook the mechanical design for UAC’s tenancy fit out within a new office development at Homebush. The design included multiple meeting rooms with individual systems, computer room and general modifications required due to tenancy walls.

Mediterranean Shipping Company, Office Fit Out, King Street Wharf (KAE)
KAE undertook all services design (mechanical, electrical, fire, hydraulics and communications) for MSC’s tenancy fit out within a new office development as part of the King Street Wharf development, Darling Harbour. The design included multiple meeting rooms with individual systems, computer room and general modifications required due to tenancy walls.

Quad 11 – Office Quality Assurance Checks for Bovis Lend Lease (KAE)
KAE undertook the mechanical services quality checking role on behalf of BLL, for the D & C base building installation.

The installation generally comprised roof top air cooled chillers serving on floor air handling plant.

Quad 11 – Swift tenancy design for Bovis Lend Lease (KAE)
KAE undertook the mechanical design for Swift & Moore tenancy fit out within a new office development at Homebush. The design included multiple meeting rooms with individual systems, computer room and general modifications required due to tenancy walls.

KAE undertook a pre purchase report for this shopping centre for the following services:
