KE Mission

The KE Mission is to actively reduce energy consumption, whilst maintaining or improving the indoor environment within the nations building portfolio by:

• Providing analysis and advice relating to building fabric, operation and systems
• Encourage adoption of energy reduction concepts (passive, active & embodied)
• Encourage adoption of green principles for new and existing buildings

In this day and age a building should not be built without assessing its total impact on the environment.

Gone are the days where an all glass office building is constructed without its environmental impact being criticised. Such a buildings initial impact is one thing, but just as importantly, that building will cost the environment dearly over the next fifty years and more, with poor running costs and greenhouse emissions.
